The Component and version Sync for Jira allows users to select components and versions from one Jira project and copy them to the current project. This functionality is available to project administrators.
Navigate to the project pages page of the target project:

Clicking on Target Project
You will be see under project pages, the components and Version Copy
Fetch Projects: Select a source project to copy from, excluding the current project.
Fetch Components and Versions: Display available components and versions from the selected project.
Copy Functionality: Copy selected components and versions to the current Jira project.
Success Notification: Displays a success message once copying is complete.
Problem: Unable to copy components/versions.
Solution: Verify that you have selected a source project and that you have the correct permissions.
Problem: App not appearing in the Apps menu.
Solution: Make sure the app is installed. If the issue persists, contact your Jira admin.

The objective of this SOP is to guide users on how to access and use the Simple Component and Version Sync app to copy components and versions from one project to another in Jira seamlessly.
Access the app by going to the projects and selecting the source project.
Under the project pages, locate and click on "Component and Version Sync."
Choose a project to copy components from by selecting it from the list provided.
Select the components and versions you want to copy.
Click on the "Copy" button.
Confirm the successful copying of components and versions by checking the respective sections in the project.
Ensure that the components and versions you want to copy are available in the source project before initiating the copying process.
Double-check your selections before clicking on the "Copy" button to avoid errors in copying.
Use the filter option to easily locate and select the project you want to copy components from.
Refresh the components and versions sections in the project after copying to ensure the changes are reflected accurately.
